As a busy person I don’t have the time to go to volleyball clubs every week, but I’ve been a regular at Jared’s events for over a year now. Going to Sunset Rec events lets me satisfy my itch to play volleyball and socialize with cool people without committing a fixed time slot every week. As it is an open group, you can play with and against all sorts of people from all sorts of skill levels, so no two evenings are the same. All in all, I’d definitely recommend coming to an event regardless of your skill level. You have nothing to lose, and a heck of a lot to win!

An diesem Strand scheint immer die Sonne. – Ich bin als Anfängerin zu meinem ersten Sunsetrec Match gekommen, um in einer lockeren Atmosphäre Beachvolleyball auszuprobieren. Besonders viel Spaß macht es mir, immer wieder in neuen bunt gemischten Teams zu spielen. Bei den Trainings und den 2vs2 Social Mixers habe ich mittlerweile viel gelernt und es macht einen riesen Spaß.

Beachvolleyball is my favorite sport. I was looking for a group which plays regularly. Talking about Sunset Rec I can do that in brief: perfect organized, fun and social. The events are well organized – I can sign up online and pay via paypal (no worries about having enough cash with me). Further the people play at all levels and everyone has a great time. As it is not only playing Beachvolleyball the social part starts right after the game as we sit together, have a drink or two and celebrate the winning team.
